About Counties Manukau Badminton Association CMBA is the regional governing body for the sport of badminton in the south of Auckland, covering areas from Otahuhu and Flat Bush in the north, to Pukekohe and Waiuku in the south. CMBA operates as a non-profit organisation. Badminton is a sport experiencing significant growth in the South Auckland region. With increased participation, memberships, and programmes in schools and community groups, the number of people playing badminton has never been greater. It’s a game for all ages, genders, ethnicities, and abilities. Our vision is to deliver an enriching badminton experience for everyone, for life. Our purpose is to create opportunities for our community to thrive in badminton. We are guided by our values of collaboration, courage, excellence, enjoyment, and care.
