COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER: COUNTIES MANUKAU BADMINTON

This role is responsible for development of badminton in the Counties Manukau region. The purpose of this role is growth of badminton both in the community and at established centres, with an overall financial increase for the association.

Reporting to the centre manager and based in Papakura, this exciting position requires a person who can lead in school programmes, and after school badminton programs, organize and run events, able to sell our program and recruit new members, be innovative in the growth of new member participation numbers and retention of existing players.

CMBA seeks a dynamic, self-motivated person with a proven track record in achieving outcomes in the sports sector. You will be creative and look to develop opportunities for growth while maintaining positive communication with stake holders and existing members. You will be strong facilitator and foster collaboration and teamwork along with cultivating productive work relationships to achieve positive outcomes.
